"More space, finally," some Jaguar enthusiasts shouted in the late 1950s, when the XK 150 DHC (Drop Head Coupe) came to the market. A cabriolet in a modern style, with panoramic windows, crank windows, rear seats, 4 disc brakes and more space. Tall drivers could now sit more comfortably than was possible in the predecessor of the XK 140.

The 4 disc brakes, compared to the drum brakes of the predecessor were a huge step forward. The panoramic glass provided excellent visibility. The powerful 3.8 liter engine had enormous power and produced a sonorous sound. Simply a car that awakens emotions. The offered here Jaguar XK150 DHC Cabriolet was brought on 13.10.1959 via Jaguar New York in the US and delivered to the first owner. Here the Jaguar remained until June 1967. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he had found a new home. The new owner kept the car for the next 9 years and sold it to a friend, also from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, who kept him for the next 20 years.

In 1996, the Jaguar was discovered by a German vintage car restaurateur from Germany, he brought it to Germany and subjected to a major revision. Moreover, he was painted in elegant silver metallic. Soon, a new owner had found. He used the Jaguar for beautiful excursions, regularity rallies or even long excursions. He had it, now 22 years in his possession, regularly maintain. The old gearbox has been replaced by a comfortable 5-speed gearbox, a power steering makes for a comfortable ride, even in narrow streets or in the city. A great "daily driver" with some traces of life, but with whom one can live well.
