On December 2, 1963 a great desire was fulfilled for a successful flower wholesale dealer from Duisburg. His newly ordered Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Cabriolet was delivered to him.

A dream in modern papyrus white with blue leather. The latest model, which had just replaced the Ponton series, now stood in perfect elegance in front of his front door. The car was to belong to the family from then on. In fact, the car remained in the family's possession for the next 53 years. In 2002, it was transferred to the wife and remained with her daughters after her death. In 2016 the daughters decided to give up the car. He had hardly been driven. All the years he was lovingly maintained the Mercedes-Benz. A new paint was applied after the first varnish had lost its luster over the years. The still very original blue, today beautifully patinated leather, was always maintained and could be preserved to this day. This is rare.

Let yourself be captivated by this unique original Mercedes 220 SE Cabriolet and enjoy the smoothly running straight-six-cylinder engine, the comfortable seat with the center armrest and the beautiful songs from the loudspeaker of the original Becker Europa radio from then.
