This elegant, Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3, delivered in anthracite gray metallic, was delivered in 1969 to a chief physician of the famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota / USA. He lived in a home-style house, within walking distance of the hospital, so the car was spared mostly used only for long trips. In 2009, the saloon in excellent condition acquired a businessman from Mound, also in Minnesota.
He had made a dream come true and gave the car a befitting garage space at his villa with its own boat dock, in scenic Halstead Bay. When he decided to leave the car in 2017, we were able to take it over and bring it to Germany. The 300 SEL models equipped with the powerful 6.3-liter engine are in great demand. Top specimens are hard to come by. So we decided to completely rework the car despite excellent substance and to make a top speciment of it. The substructure was professionally cleaned and resealed, the axles reconditioned, new hydro bellows and shock absorbers installed, the power steering overhauled, a new radiator installed, the original engine checked, readjusted and where necessary parts renewed. As part of the retrofitting of the side American lighting on German standard, the car received a new full paint. Now the car presents itself in sensational condition, one would like to quickly use the term "as new". Let yourself be fascinated by the charisma of this top Mercedes.
Such a 300 SEL 6.3 is very rare.
