On August 15, 1957, this elegant Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster left the factory in Sindelfingen with a royal destination: the Royal House of Hanover. The Prince of Hanover ordered this dream roadster in light ivory and in a tasteful combination with red leather. The vehicle was already equipped ex works with the coveted Rudge rims and a Becker radio. For decades, the vehicle was driven, cherished and cared for by His Highness. The vehicle was subsequently sold to an English collector. Probably in the 1980s, the vehicle returned to Germany, to a renowned collection of of a wealthy Mercedes enthusiast. The current owner discovered the vehicle, recognized its potential and decided on a full restoration. Under his experienced direction, the vehicle was rebuilt by master craftsmen over a period of 7 years. The newly selected color combination of a dreamlike green uni paint and dark green leather interior makes this roadster shine in unimagined beauty.
