We are delighted to be able to offer you this very special 124 series Estate. Ordered in 1991, the vehicle left the factory in Bremen as a 300 TE with the popular M 103 in-line six-cylinder engine. Its destination was faraway Japan, where the customer put together a very special vehicle. The brilliant silver estate left the factory with a more than extensive range of equipment and was shipped to Japan, where the Japanese AMG branch lent a hand. AMG offered an optimization stage to all those for whom the standard output of the most powerful engine in the model range at the time was not sufficient: the engine based on the M 103 E 30 was given a torque boost by an optimized crankshaft with an extended stroke, and the cylinders were also enlarged. The revised cylinder head with enlarged, polished ports, new valves, harder valve springs and a sharper camshaft helped the engine to produce 234 hp at 5,750 rpm and 317 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. An additional intake pipe on the air filter housing covers the increased fresh air requirement. A twin-flow exhaust system with a larger diameter and twin-pipe rear silencer optimize the exhaust gas routing. An optimization that AMG actually only intended for coupé and saloon customers. It is extremely rare to find T-models in the 3.2 AMG version. An absolutely rare opportunity.

The vehicle remained in Japan for a whole 28 years and was discovered and purchased at auction in 2020 by an East Frisian entrepreneur and Mercedes enthusiast. In perfect condition and with a mileage of 145,300 km, he took over the vehicle in October 2020. The combination of driving comfort and performance made it the perfect everyday companion, covering an impressive 65,000 km in four years. Overdue maintenance and repairs were always carried out promptly in our workshop, regardless of the cost. A total of €53,000 has been invested in the maintenance of this gem over the last four years. A good investment if you take a closer look at the price development of rare AMG vehicles at past auctions. When the customer decided to sell the rare 300 TE 3.2 AMG, we did not hesitate for long. With the recently completed engine overhaul, a genuine AMG rarity in top form is now for sale.
