Until the late 1990s, the grey market of European vehicles for the Japanese market flourished. Vehicles from German car manufacturers were considered prestige objects and were desperately sought by the Japanese upper class. Low mileage and excellent condition make the vehicles highly attractive even today.

This wonderful 500E of the so highly praised 124 series presents itself in noble blue-black metallic in combination with perforated leather in black. In April 1993 it was delivered to its first owner in Germany and then went to far away Japan. The vehicle remained there until it returned to Germany at the end of 2019.

The Japanese export documents impressively confirm a speedometer reading of 69,000 km in 2016 and 71,000 km in 2018, while the still husky V8 accelerates sensationally and the new brake system provides the appropriate deceleration. All in all, a fantastic vehicle with lavish equipment and rare colours. Let yourself be captivated by this understatement car.
