This makes the market for good examples of the E-Class from the 1999 and 2000s all the more interesting. The top model from 1999 was the AMG version E 55 with a 5.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. The T models were particularly sought after, as their combination of space, comfort and power exerted a very special fascination. With 354 hp and a powerful eight-cylinder sound, this power station wagon is an absolute stunner.

This vehicle was completed at the factory on August 27, 2001 and delivered to distant Japan. After 12 years of obviously excellent care and maintenance, its new owner, a Mercedes enthusiast from northern Germany, took delivery of the vehicle in Bremerhaven on December 24, 2013 after it had been shipped from Tokyo. The new owner, who is an expert in his field, gave the vehicle a full service and maintained it meticulously and according to the manufacturer's specifications. After more than 10 years in his possession, we did not hesitate for long when the Mercedes fan thought about selling it.
