In January 1976, the "dash eight" models of the W 114/115 series were replaced by a completely newly designed model series with the internal designation W 123. The model range extended from the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel with 55 hp to the 2.8-litre six-cylinder injection engine with 185 hp.

This wonderful 230 E in the matching shade of classic white dates from the last model year 1985 and is equipped with the robust 2.3l four-cylinder engine. On 17.07.1985 the vehicle was registered by its first owner, a gentleman from Woudrichem in North Brabant, Netherlands. Over many years and decades the vehicle was always cared for and maintained. The service booklet is completely maintained and traceable. Even the original data card and the original invoice are still available. The "plate report", i.e. the counter report, shows impressively how little the vehicle has been moved in the last almost 27 years.

Visually and technically, you really don't notice the 35 years of this no-frills limousine. A great vehicle which, with the right care, will certainly give its new owner many more wonderful decades. A great entry into the world of classic cars with an interesting course.
