This elegant 280SE 3.5 liter convertible was completed at Mercedes-Benz in Germany in the spring of 1971 and shipped to South Carolina/USA. The equipment was excellent and included a Becker radio, air conditioning from BEHR and automatic transmission with center shift. The first owner had ordered the car in elegant tobacco brown combined with cognac leather interior, which harmonized particularly well with the dark brown burl wood finish of the dashboard. The elegant convertible remained in South Carolina for many years and found its way to Georgia/USA in 2012. From there, the car came to Germany in 2014 and was sold to its previous owner through the Mercedes-Benz branch in Hanover. The car was carefully overhauled and received a new leather interior of the finest quality. It impressively underlines the sheer elegance of this 280 SE 3.5 liter convertible. Best make yourself a picture in our premises, you will be thrilled.
