Subsequently, the vehicle made its way to the USA, where it remained for the next decades and was always well maintained and driven. Back in Germany, the vehicle underwent a complete overhaul with high standards of craftsmanship and originality. Thus, the vehicle was rebuilt to bodyshell, the body was completely stripped of paint and completely repainted.
