In May 1989, a gentleman from the beautiful town of Leonberg, 13 kilometers west of the state capital Stuttgart, fulfilled his personal dream of open-top driving with this gorgeous 500 SL of the 107 series. A timeless combination of an exterior paint finish in blue-black metallic in combination with alpaca grey leather corresponded to the spirit of the time and still guarantees a fashionable appearance today. No compromises were made in terms of equipment: from automatic air conditioning to electric windows and heated seats for the driver and front passenger, nothing was left to be desired. Cruise control, a make-up mirror in the sun visor and a Becker radio rounded off the equipment and corresponded to the full equipment of the time.

By 2020, this beauty had enriched a total of six owners and was driven exclusively in Germany. The last mileage was around 140,000 km. From March 2020, the vehicle was completely dismantled in our workshop and rebuilt in its original condition. The engine was overhauled, the car was fitted with a new original gearbox and the interior was reupholstered with leather and carpets. A subsequent complete paint job rounded off the work on this dream roadster and made the car shine like new. From October 2020, the new and current owner enjoyed this unique 500 SL. With only 7360 kilometers on the clock, this unique piece presents itself as a well-run-in new car.
