We are delighted to be able to offer you this absolute AMG rarity: an SL 73 AMG from the year 2000. Less than 50 vehicles were manufactured by the then still independent AMG company in Affalterbach up to the year 2000. As the AMG versions SL 70 and SL 73 were never to be found in the official price lists, documentation is difficult. All vehicles left the production line as the SL 600 and were optimized by the motorsport specialist AMG. The increase in displacement from 5,987 to 7,291 cubic meters, a modified drive shaft, a larger brake system and an adapted transmission control system delivered a powerful 525 hp. Top speeds in excess of 300 km/h made the SL 73 the fastest roadster of its time.

Many of the vehicles were ordered by powerful international customers, with very few remaining in Germany. One of them is this SL 73 AMG. With a sensational mileage of just 45,400 km, this vehicle is without exception in top condition. Only three previous owners have kept this diamond safe over the years, so that it now shines in pristine condition. The brilliant silver paintwork in combination with dark green designo leather still reflects the spirit of the times.
