The special model of the SLR super sports car was available from July 11, 2006 and was strictly limited to just 150 units. The limited small series was largely handcrafted at McLaren in Woking. In close contact with motorsport, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition was developed in 2006 at the headquarters of the English Formula 1 forge McLaren. The super sports car, modified in more than 300 parts, featured higher performance, more dynamic chassis tuning, improved aerodynamics and a decidedly sporty interior.

With a sensational mileage of just under 160 kilometers, this roadster is a must-have for any collector, symbolizing a piece of contemporary history like no other and bridging the gap between historic motorsport and the modern age. Like so many of the strictly limited 722 S, this vehicle was also delivered to the Arab world. The vehicle was shipped to its destination in Kuwait on 17.02.2009, where it was accepted as part of an exclusive collection. This is the only way to explain that the vehicle was registered but never moved. An absolute treasure, whose value is hardly measurable.
