With the last air-cooled power unit, the 993 model series represents the "last real" Porsche for many. But the model also represented a real speciality for Porsche: for the first time, a bi-turbo was installed, which eliminated the turbo lag often criticized in the predecessor model, the 964 Turbo, and achieved faster response and smoother power delivery. Another special feature was the all-wheel drive, which was used for the first time in the Turbo and provided sufficient traction even under adverse conditions. Developments that are still implemented in Porsche Turbo models today.

This example in classic black/black still holds an interesting special feature. None other than American racing great Kenny Bernstein, better known as the "Bud King," was the first owner of this vehicle. In March 1992, Kenny broke the magic barrier of 300 mp/h on the quarter mile with a standing start - the equivalent of 482.8 km/h - with his Top Fuel dragster. Kenny set a monument for himself and became known as the "King of Speed." As a racing entrepreneur and race team owner, Kenny celebrated countless successes until 2011.

With a sensationally low mileage of only 23,200 miles, the vehicle presents itself technically and visually in a decidedly exceptional state. Experience this speciality with all your senses. A warm welcome to you.
